The Random Color Code Urinalysis Program is a means of delivering a random urinalysis program to a large number of clients. Clients are assigned a color by either their probation officer or by RSI. Each color represents a different testing frequency ranging from weekly, semi-monthly, monthly or quarterly.
The client is assigned a color and is provided with an informational packet. The packet will provide each client with information on procedures they need to follow, location ,days, times of testing and when they need to call the Color Code Hotline for further information.
At collection, the client must provide their probation officers name, a picture ID and a money order. A RSI Labs Drug Collector will complete a Chain of Custody form which the client will need to sign.
The client will complete a PBT (Portable Breath Test) as well as an observed urinalysis.
Clients providing samples will have “UA Collected” next to their name and those who did not appear will show a “No-Show”. This report will be sent to all appropriate probation offices.
Samples are processed the same day they are delivered and the lab will fax all results to by day end.
Color Code Collections are available within certain geographical areas.
